The SG50 are 5 Gigabit switches respectively. They support auto MDI/MDIX and store-and-forward switching. The SG50 has a 10Gbps backplane bandwidth. Design and functionality make these switches excellent for small offices or work groups in need of high transmission rates, or they can be use very effectively in connecting two slower departmental switches in a larger network.
